Paddle Questions

Which paddle should I buy?

We know it can get confusing! Check out our paddle buying guide and the video reviews on our home page. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to support@bnbpickleball.com.

How long do Pickleball paddles last?

Like any performance sports equipment, pickleball paddles experience normal wear and tear over time. Think of a paddle like your favorite pair of running shoes. The more often and harder you use them, the faster they will wear down and eventually need replacing.

For recreational players, a Bread & Butter paddle can last anywhere from 1–5 years, depending on frequency of play and how well the paddle is cared for.

Our most dedicated “core players” are on the courts daily. Many of them rotate two or three paddles, keeping one fresh for tournament play while cycling between the other two outside of competition. This helps maintain consistent performance when it matters most.

Ultimately, paddle lifespan varies by player, playing style, care and usage.

How do I care for my Pickleball paddle?

STORAGE:
Always keep your paddle in a dry environment. Preferably indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. It is best not to leave your paddle in a vehicle, hot and cold temperatures can and will damage your paddle over time.

Paddle Face and Edgeguard Cleaning:
Always wipe down your Bread and Butter Pickleball paddle after play. To clean your edge guard, wipe it down with a damp cloth.

To clean your paddle face, you can use one of our paddle erasers for a quick, spot clean, or a slightly damp cloth for a more thorough wipe down.

Please note that with time the graphics on your paddle will begin to fade a bit. Don't worry, this means you are out there getting after it! It's a sign of progress and experience.

Grip Care:
Always wipe down your grip after play. Sweat, grit, and oils from your hands will always build up. If you clean it after every round it will last longer. Please note that the high-quality grips that come with your paddle aren't your only option, feel free to overwrap your grip with any wrap you feel comfortable with. There are many to choose from and an overgrip will protect your original factory-installed grip.

Are your paddles warrantied?

Yes! We have a 6 month warranty from the date of delivery. For more info on our warranty visit our Warranty page.

Who do I contact for customer support?

Our team is available Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! If you have a cancellation request, please email support@bnbpickleball.com with your order number.

Do you have a military discount?

Yes we do! All service members whether retired or active duty can register with GovX during checkout to receive a 15% discount on paddles. This also applies to healthcare workers and emergency responders.

Do you sponsor players or teams?

We do not offer individual player, team, or paddle sponsorships. Our mission is to keep pickleball fun. We don’t cater to the pros here; we cater to the everyman.

If you like our brand and want access to discounted gear, pre-released paddles, and a chance to earn some extra cash on the courts; check out our Ambassador Program. We’d love to have you rep our gear!

Do you offer in-kind donations or event sponsorships?

While we don’t offer monetary donations or sponsorships, we do provide in-kind donations for use as raffle items or prizes for events that align with our brand.

We’re unable to support events or fundraising connected to political campaigns, political advocacy groups, or religious organizations.

If you’d like to request an in-kind donation for your event, please email support@bnbpickleball.com with your event details. All requests are reviewed individually. Please allow 3-4 business days for a response.

Do you have a retail program?

Yes! We do have a retail program. Please use the retail application form from the "Contact Us" drop-down to apply.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We utilize UPS, USPS and DHL carrier services. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

How long does it take to fulfill my order?

We ship 5 days a week. On days 6 and 7, we are playing pickleball.

All orders are shipped the next day. * UNLESS PLACED DURING A PADDLE DROP, PRE-ORDER, MAJOR SALE, WEEKEND, OR HOLIDAY*

All apparel is fulfilled by a trusted third party and will ship within 2-5 business days.

How long does it take to get my items after you ship them?

This is based on the shipping method you selected and your address. ESTIMATED ship dates are available at checkout.

Please note that UPS and USPS do not count Saturday and Sunday as days in transit.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! You can find the list of countries we ship to in the drop-down at the bottom of the home page.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the total cost of your order, the final shipping destination, and the shipping method selected. We offer expedited and economy shipping.

Please note that international shipments may incur additional shipping fees. Bread and Butter does not pay for the import fees, tariffs, or taxes incurred due to the shipping location. The liability for such fees will fall onto the customer or recipient.

Please note that international orders will not be able to take advantage of the 30-Day Love it or Return it policy.

Why do some items ship separately?

Our primary focus and business is pickleball paddles, balls, and equipment. All of our t shirts, hoodies, and hats (soft goods) are handled by a trusted third party. We do not warehouse these items so they ship from another location.

Do you offer pickup?

Yes!! We love to meet our local players! We provide an option for local pickup at checkout. Pickup is available at the following address.

Will my paddle ship in a box?

We’re currently transitioning away from shipping paddles in boxes. As our remaining box inventory runs out, some orders will ship in protective bubble mailers instead. Packaging status for each product is listed in the product description, and all paddles are shipped fully protected.
